Every piece that I create holds a part of me. But, the ๐ฆ๐๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ผ๐ฟ'๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ป๐ฒ๐ collection bears all. It depicts my road of escape and healing from domestic violence. I honor all that it took to create them, and the surrender it takes to alchemize pain and trauma into the balm that heals. I honor and offer genuine connection by sharing the story behind each piece. And I give soul hugs with the hope it empowers, and/or validates other survivors.
My spiritual way of being and seeing things may include or exclude your practices and beliefs. But, understand that I am connected to all. You don't have to take my way home, take yours...we'll both get there.

Faith is balanced. Light and dark. She is also the reminder that I am the daughter of many. The blood and power of my ancestors race through my veins. I am made of the universe... Depicted by the star in her eye, and how stars kiss her cheekbones and hang from her hair (dust clouds, galaxies). Faith tells me that I have everything I need to overcome the aftermath of suffering violence that shakes the core.
