About Canessa Thomas

Canessa Thomas Canessa Thomas is a versatile self-taught artist from Georgia whose work spans poetry, digital art, mixed media, and photography. Her debut poetry collection, The Strongest Element: Love Survival, was published in 2007. Her photography has been exhibited internationally at venues including the Palazzo Caรขโ‚ฌโ„ข Zanardi in Venice during the 58th Venice Biennale, Blank Wall Gallery in Athens, and Qlick Gallery in Amsterdam. Her artwork has also been featured in international publications such as Time and Memory and 101 Art Book: Abstract Edition 2025. In 2025, she was named a Featured Artist at the Midtown Atlanta Outdoor Art Gallery. Deeply inspired by nature, Canessa draws creativity and perspective from her connection to the natural world.
